Participants Wanted for Bennett Community Garden

The Town of Bennett is looking for community volunteers to plant and care for the Bennett Community Garden in Civic Center Park. 

The Town opened the community garden in the summer of 2020 after receiving grants from Adams County Open Space and LiveWell HEAL Cities and Towns. The garden was created to connect area residents with their agricultural heritage and provide individuals of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to come together in the spirit of community. 

Town of Bennett and CDPHE Hosts Vaccination Clinic for Over 450 Community Members

The Town of Bennett and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment held a vaccination clinic where over 450 community members were vaccinated for COVID-19. 

The vaccination clinic was hosted for those who are in the State of Colorado’s eligible phases 1A, 1B.1 and 1B.2, which includes health care workers, teachers and those 65 years and older. 

Town of Bennett Hosts COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic

The Town of Bennett and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment are hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Wednesday February 17, 2021. 

The vaccination clinic will be held at the Bennett Community Center, 1100 W. Colfax Avenue, Bennett CO, 80102 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Town Hall Remains Closed Week of February 8, 2021

The Town of Bennett Town Hall will remain closed the week of February 8, 2021.

Services are still available online or by phone at (303) 644-3249. 

The Town can confirm there was an outbreak of COVID-19 at Town Hall. There has been contract tracing with the Tri-County Health Department and the Town is following all CDC recommended hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting procedures along with recommended infection prevention and control practices to limit community transmission.

Town of Bennett Municipal Court will still take place on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Please follow all of the current procedures, including remaining outside the building until directed to re-enter.

IREA opens new facility in Bennett

The Intermountain Rural Electric Association opened its new facility in the town of Bennett today with a small ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests included members of IREA’s board of directors, CEO and staff; Tyler Nunn, President of Nunn Construction; and Royce Pindell, Mayor of Bennett.

“We are excited and welcome the opening of the new Intermountain Rural Electric Association (IREA) facility in the Town of Bennett,” said Bennett Mayor Royce Pindell. “We are grateful for the partnership and investment in our community.”
