Town of Bennett and CDPHE Hosts Vaccination Clinic for Over 450 Community Members

The Town of Bennett and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment held a vaccination clinic where over 450 community members were vaccinated for COVID-19. 

The vaccination clinic was hosted for those who are in the State of Colorado’s eligible phases 1A, 1B.1 and 1B.2, which includes health care workers, teachers and those 65 years and older. 

The Town was proud to work with CDPHE to bring the clinic to the Eastern Plains. “We are beyond grateful to have hosted this event,” Town Administrator, Trish Stiles said, “I am so proud of our Town Staff and CDPHE for organizing this event for our community.”

Town Safety Officer, Gerilynn Scheidt said, “The Town hopes to host more COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the future and will continue to apply to various agencies so they can serve as many community members as possible.” Information about future clinics hosted by the Town of Bennett or other vaccination clinics in the area will be posted online here

Residents who received their first dose of the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine during the clinic on February 17, 2021, will receive their second dose on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Details regarding time slots and registration will be emailed from the Town as well as posted on the Town's website
