The Bennett Arts Council was created in 2018. Its members include the Town of Bennett, the Bennett Park and Recreation District, the Bennett School District, Morgan Community College, the Bennett Community Market, Communities that Care and artist Jamie Zerr-Lockwood.

The Bennett Arts Council’s mission is to promote, connect, and empower arts and culture for all ages throughout the Town and Eastern I-70 corridor. It values sustainability, collaboration, innovation and the transformative power of the arts.

2020 Eastern Plains Summer Concert Series

The Bennett Arts Council and Unincorporated Arapahoe County Economic Development will be hosting six free concerts in the months on July, August and September. 

The series will consist of three ‘Party in the Park’ concerts, the first held virtually on the Town of Bennett’s Facebook page or website ( and the other two held at Trupp Park in Bennett, CO, and three ‘Music on the Farm’ concerts at May Farms in Byers, CO. Each concert will begin at 6:00 P.M. The summer concert series will be held on the following dates: 

  • July 17, 2020 – Virtual Concert
  • July 31, 2020 – May Farms
  • August 14, 2020 – Trupp Park
  • August 28, 2020 – May Farms
  • September 11, 2020 – Trupp Park
  • September 25, 2020 – May Farms

During the concerts in August, there will also be a pop-up art sale featuring artists from Corridor Creative Arts League. The art sale will run from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, attendees are asked to wear a mask or facial covering and maintain six feet or more of distance between individuals not in their immediate household.

If attendees are sick, exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, or have recently been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we ask them to stay home.

Every two months, the Bennett Arts Council will be featuring artists at Town of Bennett Town Hall. If you are interested in displaying your artwork please fill out the submission form here.

The Bennett Arts Council would like to invite you to become a partner with us for our upcoming 2020 season!Businesses can sponsor certain events, like the free summer concert series, or the entire 2020 calendar.
