Building Inspections

The Town of Bennett's Community Development Department has moved building inspection requests online to the permit portal. Voicemail requests are no longer accepted. Instructions for how to request an inspection can be found here. If you are having problems requesting your inspection, you can email inspections@bennett.co.us. If you have general questions about your permit or using the portal, please email bennettbuilding@bennett.co.us. 

Inspection requests must be received by 4:00 p.m. the day before in order to be placed on the schedule the following day.  Requests submitted on the weekend must be sent to inspections@bennett.co.us. Inspections are scheduled Monday-Friday. The Town of Bennett observes most Federal Holidays and may have modified schedules around them. Confirm that the Town will be open on your requested day by checking the Town of Bennett website or emailing bennettbuilding@bennett.co.us Inspectors will try to accommodate requests as best they can, however the Town does not provide any guarantee that your inspection will be performed in the window you request. Inspections can occur at any time between 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. on the date requested.

Homeowners exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, headache or body aches, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or loss of taste or smell should reschedule their home inspection.
