The Electrical/Building Inspector safeguards the public health, safety and welfare by ensuring compliance with electrical standards and codes through conducting proper and thorough electrical plan reviews and electrical inspections. The Electrical/Building Inspector is responsible for providing building inspections, plan reviews, and other duties when the Chief Building Official (CBO) deems necessary. Duties include all structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections which are done according to the adopted Town Municipal code, and ICC codes, standards, and regulations. The Electrical/Building Inspector must be able to communicate via email, telephone, and in person. They are responsible for creating and preserving professional relationships with the building community, residents, businesses, developers, state agencies and other governmental organization. They must maintain proper records, log inspections, conduct plan reviews, and prepare reports. They are also responsible for special projects as assigned.
Parks, Grounds, and Open Space Maintenance Worker II:
Responsible for acquiring and performing various skills associated with accepted maintenance practices for one or more of the following areas: Operates light or heavy equipment and performs routine, irrigation, spraying, and fertilizing experience required skilled work in the maintenance and construction of athletic fields/courts, trails, natural open space areas, turf management, and landscape maintenance. Incumbents assigned to this class are expected to perform the full range of work assigned to this class and to work with significant independence and initiative.
