How are rates calculated?
The Town’s utility billing cycle runs from the 15th to the 15th, with billing processed on the 1st and due on the 26th.
Base rate is calculated to cover the cost of all debt service payments and replacement reserve. Base rate is charged monthly per unit. Usage rate is calculated to cover the cost of all operating, maintenance and administrative costs.
Sewer service with the Town of Bennett, your rate is based on your average winter monthly consumption (AWMC) from Nov. 15th - Feb. 15th. and is adjusted yearly.
