The Town of Bennett will host an open house and informational meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, for individuals interested in running for office in the 2022 Municipal Election.
The Town of Bennett Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, for three (3) trustee positions.
Potential candidates will have an opportunity to meet with the Board of Trustees and Town staff to discuss the benefits of serving your community and the commitment required. Information on the election process will be provided.
Adams and Arapahoe County are offering virtual meeting times to learn more about support services and available Federal & State assistance programs, which include: Food Assistance, Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Cash Assistance, Child Care Assistance and LEAP.

The Town of Bennett is honoring all those who have served with a free meal on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021.
All military members are invited for a free meal at High Plains Diner from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Veterans and service members may be asked to present a military ID and use the Code “VETERANS2021”.
On Tuesday, October 12th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., the Town of Bennett Public Works Department will be working on water service on Dahlia Street. This may cause a temporary disruption to your water service.
The work will last approximately three hours and we urge residents to prepare for a lack of water service during this time period.

The Town of Bennett will be conducting road construction on the intersection of 1st Street and Roosevelt Avenue beginning October 5, 2021.
The intersection will be closed to all traffic except necessary residential travel. Construction will take approximately two weeks.
The Town will have road closures in place and suggests alternate travel routes.
This project will replace the concrete at the intersection at First and Roosevelt, this intersection is being prioritized because it is widely used by residents and is a key area for drainage and heavy equipment.
The Town of Bennett and the Bennett Arts Council are excited to host the Fourth Annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Trunk or Treat is an event where kids can trick or treat from decorated trunks in a centralized and safe location. The event will take place at Town of Bennett Town Hall from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Business owners, organizations and local community members are invited to decorate the trunk of their car or the back of their vehicle and pass out candy, flyers or coupons.
The Town of Bennett celebrated the groundbreaking of a new at grade water storage tank on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Following Board approval, the Town began construction on the new one-million-gallon water storage tank and booster pump station. The new steel tank will help improve the Town’s water capacity and ability to serve all current and future residents. It will also replace the current concrete water tank and will be located east of the elevated water storage tank.
