Town of Bennett Master Transportation Plan

The Town of Bennett has initiated its first ever Master Transportation Plan (MTP) to establish a long-range vision for the Town’s transportation system for the next 20+ years. The MTP seeks to better understand and address current and future transportation needs for the Bennett community. It establishes an overall framework, sets community goals, and identifies a range of investment opportunities to move people in the most efficient and safest manner possible today and for years to come.

Holiday Help Gift Distribution

As part of the Bennett Holiday Help Program, the Town will be hosting a drive-thru gift distribution on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Town of Bennett Town Hall.

Breakfast with Santa Update, Now Drive-Thru!

Bennett Residents, due to staffing and health and safety concerns Santa will now be providing meals in a drive-thru fashion on Saturday.

Meals will be hot, ready and FREE.

Santa will also be giving out goody bags for kids who come say “Hi!”.

Residents have the option to have the meals delivered to their house.* If you are unable to drive or know someone who could use a hot breakfast, register online by noon on Friday, December 3, 2021 and a meal will be left on your doorstep!

Donations will be accepted for the Bennett Holiday Help Program.

Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement

The Town of Bennett Public Works Department will be working on replacing the sanitary sewer line on Lincoln Avenue and 3rd Street. During this time, the road will be reduced to one traffic lane and alternate routes are advised.

Town of Bennett to Host Informational Meeting for Potential Trustee Candidates

The Town of Bennett will host an open house and informational meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, for individuals interested in running for office in the 2022 Municipal Election. 

The Town of Bennett Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, for three (3) trustee positions. 

Potential candidates will have an opportunity to meet with the Board of Trustees and Town staff to discuss the benefits of serving your community and the commitment required. Information on the election process will be provided.
