Declaration of Snow Emergency

The Town of Bennett has experienced several significant snow events this winter season and with additional snow forecasted there is an urgent need to contract with one or more persons who can assist the Town with snow and ice removal.

Snow Removal Update 1/25/2023

The Town of Bennett Public Works Department will have crews loading and moving snow off priority roads beginning Thursday, January 26, 2023 and Friday, January 27, 2023. 

In order to most effectively and safely clear the streets, the Town is asking residents to please move all vehicles off the road during this time. Crews will begin removal on Priority 1 and school bus routes.

Life Line Screening at the Bennett Community Center 2/13/2023

Life Line Screening will be holding screenings at the Bennett Community Center on Monday, February 13, 2023. 

Life Line Screening offers a 5-screening package to provide peace of mind or early detection for risks of stroke and cardiovascular disease. The combination of these tests helps detect problems - before you have symptoms and while you and your doctor can still take action so you can keep doing the things you love.

Class Cancelled - Health and Medical Preparedness Course

UPDATE: The Health and Medical Preparedness Class has been cancelled due to inclement weather. More classes with Adams County OEM will be scheduled in 2023. 


Join the Town of Bennett and Adams County Office of Emergency Management for our free Health and Medical Preparedness course where you’ll learn how to prepare for the health of you and your household, develop backup resources for your healthcare needs, and understand how to improve your recovery from disaster.

Limited Services Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022

Due to adverse weather conditions, Town of Bennett will only be offering limited services on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Town Hall will be closed Monday, January 2, 2023 in observance of New Years Day. 

Regular hours of operation will resume Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
