The Town of Bennett was awarded two Open Space Grants from the Adams County Commissioners on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
The Town received grants to help fund Trupp Park Phase V and the Community Garden Expansion.
During the Trupp Park Phase V project, the Town will focus on improving the upper play field and the grandstand stage. The Community Garden Expansion project allowed the Town to build six (6) more garden beds in order for more residents to participate in the program.
Funding for these grants comes from the Adams County Open Space Sales Tax. More information on the Adams County Open Space Grants can be found online at here.
