In 2024, after careful consideration, the Town of Bennett made the decision to transition police services to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office to serve all of incorporated Bennett.
As part of this transition, on January 31, 2024, the Town of Bennett paid the Adams County Sheriff's office for services billed in the month of January.
The goal of the Town has always been to facilitate a smooth and collaborative shift in law enforcement services.
