The Town of Bennett, Colorado has partnered with The Retail Coach, the nation’s top retail recruitment and development firm, to execute a Business Support and Recruitment Strategy.
The Retail Coach, alongside Brand Acceleration, the nation’s top economic development marketing firm, will work together to determine new economic development opportunities in Bennett.
This project will focus on three major elements, including a market analysis, an existing business outreach and support program, and a new business and employer recruitment strategy. Expected outcomes include:
- A better understanding of Bennett’s existing business environment, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- A data-driven analysis of Bennett’s existing and future market area
- Identification and reaffirmation of target businesses and service providers
- Improved business support programs for existing businesses
- A more diverse and resilient local economy, with a strong existing business foundation and a way-forward to recruiting new retail and other businesses, service providers, and employers.
The project team will first be on the ground in Bennett during the week of March 28th to kick off the project. During this first visit, team members will analyze the existing market in Bennett and the surrounding area to help identify opportunities to help diversify the Bennett economy.
Using that information, coupled with trade area and market data and statistics, The Retail Coach will create opportunity reports and prepare marketing tools to represent the community to business prospects. The team will also conduct a demand analysis, which is essential in determining types of sectors and prospects to target.
