Fiore & Sons, INC. and LGI homes has started a road construction project for the widening of State Highway 79 at 38th Avenue. There will be construction along SH-79 at the intersection of 38th Avenue. During this period, SH-79 will be shut down to a single lane road all day (24 hours/day, 7 days/week).
Temporary traffic lights will be set at either end the road work to control the flow of traffic. Travelers can expect delays of up to 5 minutes while waiting for the light to change.
During this same period, access between 38th Avenue and SH-79 will not be available. 38th Avenue will be restricted to Local Traffic Only. Access will be Via 1st Street/Converse Rd or Via Greg’s Place/Morgan Way/Bennett Ranch Blvd.
Please be advised that the main entrance to Mount View Cemetery will be closed during construction. The cemetery will be accessible via the north entrance.
This road construction project is expected to last into the summer.
