The anticipated construction phase of the I-70 and State-Highway 79 Off-Ramp project will begin on July 5, 2023 and work is expected to continue through September 2023. Working hours are 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday.
Traffic congestion and delays are anticipated, as the road may need to be closed periodically during construction. Alternative routes are strongly encouraged.
Alternate routes to Bennett include:
Manila Road - exit 299, then head north to SH36 and turn right (east)
Kiowa Bennett Road - exit 305
Strasburg - exit 310 (for those traveling eastbound on I-70)
