Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Region 1 Traffic was on site yesterday doing final inspections of the signal. CDOT has informed the Town of the following start up schedule:
- Beginning Monday, July 31st at 7:00 a.m. the signal will begin flashing.
- The signal will flash yellow for traffic north/south on Hwy 79 and red for traffic east/west on Marketplace Drive.
- On Friday, August 4th at 7:00 a.m. the signal will become fully operational.
For the remainder of this week, additional work will take place including striping on the roadway.
The maintenance and operation of Hwy 79 and the Marketplace signalization is owned and operated by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
