On July 3, 2023, we began working to install a sanitary sewer line and a water main line on Washington Way and 8th Street. Beginning July 26, 2023, this intersection will be closed. Additionally, beginning on Sunday, July 30, there will also be a full closure at the intersection of Palmer Ave. and 8th Street. These intersections will be closed through August 13, 2023.
We plan to keep one lane of traffic open during this construction period for businesses on 8th Street. There will be no school access from 8th Street. Please be aware of on-site traffic control and detours.
- There will be a full closure at 8th Street and Palmer Ave.
- Business employees in the area will have continuous one-lane access.
- Public access to the school must use the Morgan - Washington Way detour.
