Is your pet licensed with the Town of Bennett?

We would like to remind all Bennett residents that all dogs and cats are required by law to be licensed with the Town. Licenses for spayed/neutered pets are $10.00 and $25.00 for intact animals. Senior Citizens over the age of 65 receive 50% discount on spayed/neutered pet licenses. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required with the annual payment and you will be issued a Town of Bennett license tag, good for one (1) year.

The Town makes every effort to contact the owners of animals found or picked up stray.  However, having an unlicensed dog or cat could result in costs for board and impound to the Adams County Animal Shelter and/or a Municipal summons.

A friendly reminder, dogs and cats allowed to roam the neighborhood are in violation of the leash law.  They must be kept on a leash or in a fenced in yard.

May is National Pet Month. Licenses will be $8.00 for spayed/neutered animals, $23.00 for intact animals, and senior citizens are $3.00 for spayed/neutered animals.

If you have any questions or need more information, call Animal Control at 303-644-3249 ext. 1015.
