Bennett School District

The District serves the central portions of Adams and Arapahoe counties and covers an area of 292 square miles. Bennett and Watkins are the main communities within the District. From this territory, approximately 1,100 students are enrolled in grades PK-12. All schools are located in the Town of Bennett

The Bennett Park and Recreation District (BPRD) is a Special District that provides local residents with recreational services, including youth and adult sports leagues, fitness classes, aquatics programs, and more.

Bennett Community Food Bank

The Bennett Community Food Bank serves the Eastern I-70 Corridor which includes the communities of Watkins, Bennett, Strasburg, Byers, Deer Trail and Agate. Located in the Bennett Community Center, the Food Bank is open the first and third Saturday of every month, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.; the third Saturday of the month is devoted to USDA Commodities distribution.
